Just in time for the Audiobook Month, Anvil Audio released its first audiobook Dear Universe: Poems on Love, Longing, and Finding Your Place in the Cosmos by Pierra Calasanz-Labrador on June 2, 2018.
Fifty poems from the book are read by TV host and content creator Joyce Pring, who is also a dedicated bookworm herself. “When you read poetry, sometimes, there are pieces that are direct to the point, that tell the story the way that you would read off a prose [piece] or an article. But, there are times also when poetry needs to be unpacked, and I think I really love that about poetry—the way that it is mysterious and the way that it actually expresses feelings and emotions in such a unique manner,” told Pring in a behind-the-scenes interview with Anvil.
Debuting only three days ago, Dear Universe peaked at number one on New Releases in the Poetry section on Amazon. The title is the first offering of Anvil Audio, the first audiobook imprint in the country that publishes trade audiobooks.
Dear Universe can now be downloaded for free if you try Audible.
It is also available for purchase on the following stores: Amazon, iTunes, Kobo, NOOK Audiobooks, Google Play Books, Audiobooks.com, Scribd, Libro.FM, Downpour, OverDrive, 24Symbols, Playster, eStories, and Odilo.
Dear Universe: Poems on Love, Longing, and Finding Your Place in the Cosmos is also available on paperback for P395 in National Book Store and Power Book Store branches nationwide.
