Celebrating Women’s Month with Women Leaders of Today

In celebration of the 2018 National Women’s Month, Anvil Publishing and National Book Store support and recognize the importance of women in the field of writing by conducting a women’s forum entitled, “Her Voice: An Afternoon Conversation with the Women of Today.” It will be held on March 21, 2018, 2:00 PM, at the ground floor lobby of the Ayala Museum, Makati City. Admission is free.

The forum aims to inspire women to go forward and make a change in their chosen fields. The talks will cover topics such as women in business, violence against women, revolutionary women of today, how to be a girl boss, and women in the literary field. A panel discussion and a Q&A will be held afterwards.

The speakers of the forum feature prominent women leaders such as National Book Store’s Managing Director, Xandra Ramos-Padilla; Assumption College President, Dr. Pinky Valdes; freelance writer and co-author of Subversive Lives, Susan Quimpo; author and freelancer, Karen Ferry-Fernandez; and award-winning author and translator, Bebang Siy.
